Redding Shotokan Karate

As Brad requested, I'll try to post the (hopefully) complete report of my dojo visit to Mountain View Shotokan Karate in Boise, Idaho (3/27/09-3/28/09). I have just come back home, and this is going to be a short one. More detailed report to follow later.

Per the dojo leader's request, I led four practices and a self-defense clinic that was open to the community members. Practices had 10 to 12 SKA members with a good mix of levels and genders. The clinic had over 30 participants. The weekend was like a special training. They practiced very hard and earnestly. I was quite impressed! Each session was video-taped and pictures were taken. I'm hoping I can post some of them with their consent.

I thoroughly enjoyed my very first visit to Idaho. I will never forget the weekend with wonderful new friends!
