Redding Shotokan Karate

Redding Shotokan Karate is proud to welcome godan Jim Sagawa to host a Shotokan Karate of America practice at the Sun Oaks Tennis & Fitness club on Saturday March 8, 2008!

Mr. Sagawa, a senior student of Master Tsutomu Ohshima, will lead a 3-hour practice starting at 11:30am. This is a rare opportunity for all SKA students to learn from and practice with one of SKA's legendary godans.

All SKA members as well as local SKA affiliates are invited to attend. Donations of $10 to $20 are encouraged; proceeds will go to the Shotokan Ohshima Dojo Fund.

With the help of the Sun Oaks management team, Redding Shotokan has arranged for the use of the facility's daycare room for those who wish to stay overnight (Friday the 7th). This room will be available from 8:30pm to 8:30am; showers and full locker rooms are available. Please let us know if you'd like to stay in the room on Friday night - and remember to bring a sleeping bag and pad.

Redding is also host to a variety of fine hotels and restaurants, and has many recreational opportunities. Make a weekend of it!
