RSK is growing!

Our class sizes are slowly creeping up. Of course, I expect these things to be cyclical, having seen literally hundreds of people join and drop classes. However, it's a LOT of fun to have 12, 15, 18 (Monday's class!) students kickin' it in that small room. It poses an interesting class management issue, but that's something we need to learn to handle.

Hiroko is a great recruiter at Shasta College, David convinces many Sun Oaks members to join us, and of course our storied relationship with nidan Dallas Adams at the college's karate PE class serves to funnel his more-dedicated students to us.

Another indicator of a growing class was the size of the contingent we took to the year-end class in Carpinteria last December. It was a lot of fun to have a significant portion of the clinic's karateka made up of Redding Shotokan students.

To add to the fun, we're hosting a senior visit on March 8, 2008. Godan Jim Sagawa is going to lead a 3-hour practice, and all SKA practitioners are invited!
