Redding Shotokan Karate

Hello Redding Shotokan!!!

I am here in Pollock Pines, CA where we have moved into our new home and are trying to get unpacked and settled in. I have, however, been following the blogs here on the website since I left Redding in October.

First off, Lynette...You are such an AMAZING photographer!!! I already knew that, but your photos from the Year End Practice are so spectacular. You have a way of capturing expressions that I would probably miss even if I were standing there in person!

Secondly, Brad eternal "Thank You's" for posting Lynette's photos! Seeing them on the website has been the next best thing to being there in person, thus allowing me to live vicariously (I am pathetic, I know)...

And most importantly I want to say how proud I am of the intensity and enthusiasm that I can see in everyone. What an awesome show of devotion for so many students to travel all the way down to the Ohshima Dojo. And a great show of honor to Hiroko and Brad for their tireless dedication. I hope you will all post something about your experiences meeting Mr. Ohshima - an honor in and of itself.

I miss you all and wish you all a VERY Merry Christmas!
